Broker Remarks

Brokers Remarks:
This Westerly Centaur has been a well-loved boat throughout the years; she is in very good order.
The current owners purchased her in 2022 as their first boat ownership experience and have not looked back, hence the reason for the boat to go onto the market. She has been a superb introductory boat, which has motivated the vendors to move on to a bigger boat in the near future. She is the perfect first boat for a budding sailing enthusiast on a budget and looking for trouble-free sailing.

Owners Remarks:

My partner and I purchased Katy as our first boat and have loved every minute of owning her. Our first voyage was back to the Exe estuary from Southampton, and she felt safe and solid throughout. We cruised locally in 2022 and then, in 2023, headed down to Falmouth before arriving at Mayflower Marina with a plan to head back to Exe, but we loved it so much we stayed!
Since then, we have cruised locally with occasional overnight stays in the nearby anchorages.
Katy has always felt solid, even in a reasonable wind and sea, and my partner, who is new to sailing, has always felt safe and that the boat would look after us.
We plan to sail further afield and need a bigger boat to fulfil our plans, hence the sale. We are sure she will look after her new owners as well as she looked after us and will be sad to see her go.
