Broker Remarks
This popular bilge keel Westerly Konsort has the advantage of a brand new 2009 Beta 28hp diesel plus new head and sidelining throughout the boat approximately 1 year ago. The hull was epoxied in 1997. She would make an excellent family sailing boat and there should be no major spendings required in the coming years.
Accommodation
Forecabin with infil to create a double berth. Heads compartment to port with marine toilet and washbasin, large hanging locker to starboard. Saloon with single settee/berth to starboard and settee to port which converts to a double berth, saloon table. Chart table to port with large quarter berth behind. Galley to starboard with 2 burner gas cooker, grill and oven, stainless steel sink and large coolbox.
Mechanical and Rigging
Beta Marine 3 cylinder 28hp diesel fitted new in May 2009 with a new shaft and propeller. 2 x 12v batteries charged by engine driven alternator and solar panel. Wired for 240v shore power. Axon battery state meter. 125 ltr diesel and 125 ltrs water. Alloy mast, boom and spinnaker pole with stainless steel standing rigging which was renewed in October 2003. Mainsail Furling genoa with Furlex furling system fitted Spinnker with snuffer No. 2 jib 2 Lewmar 30 2 speed primary winches 2 x Lewmar 10 halyard winches
