For sale Sigma 38. Hull 118 of 125 built so one of the last boats out of the yard. The spacious and thoughtfully laid-out interior offers a comfortable living space, making it suitable for extended journeys. Known for its sturdy construction and seaworthiness, the Sigma 38 has become a popular choice for people looking to participate in regattas or enjoy leisurely cruising adventures.

In the current ownership the yacht has benefited from professionally re-laid teak cockpit sole and seating, mechanical overhaul of steering system, including professional re-enameling of the steering pedestal, new bearings, stainless steel grab handle, instrument cluster, Lewmar engine controls and main compass, resulting in much improved control and enjoyment from the helm.  Currently in lying ashore in Salcombe she is ready for new adventures. VAT is understood to have been paid.

Owners comments

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time with 'Blue Diamond'.  She is a superbly capable yacht that is almost without comparison when it comes to sailing performance, sea keeping, safety and value for money.  As a family she has taken us cruising along the French and English coasts, into anchorages for swimming and relaxing and been very competitive when out with similar boats locally. With a powerful but easily handled rig, self tailing winches and control lines led to the cockpit, she sails with finesse and the large wheel and precise steering means she is light to helm and responsive. She has taken us to many different places and in doing so given us lots of happy memories.

Can sleep up to 10 people so can accommodate a large racing team. Two double cabins aft, two pilot berths above the saloon settees and a twin berth fore-cabin. Very versatile and spacious for the era of boat, the layout is well suited to family use as well as a full crew and provides very secure sea berths.
