Princess 32 for sale in Kent

This Princess 32, built by Marine Projects in Plymouth has been well maintained by the previous and current owner. The boat offers good accommodation with 5 berths and large cockpit area. This Princess 32 is ideally suited for use on either the sea or the river. Twin Petrol Volvo Penta 130HP engines. The boat is currently afloat in at Gillingham Marina where a berth is available. 

Accommodation

The Princess 32 offers 5 berths in a 2 cabin layout. The forward cabin has a V berth arrangement which can be converted to form a double berth as and when required. Hanging lockers either side, storage under berths with ceiling lighting and escape hatch.

The dinette arrangement to port converts to form a double berth. Opposite this is a single berth with storage cupboards below and above. Enclosed heads compartment also to port with sea toilet (new 2007) and shower. New carpets October 2010.

The galley is fitted with a two gas cooker and oven. Single sink with hot and cold water supply and ample storage areas. Steps lead up to the spacious aft cockpit with helm position to port complete with seat and full engine instrumentation. Co-pilot seat opposite on top of the gas/12v fridge.

The bench style seat extends and also pulls out across the rear of the cockpit which is covered with a semi hardtop and pram type hood complete with windows ( new October 2010) . Access to the engine room is easy through a large hatch in the cockpit floor. There is a large bathing platform, davits. The side decks have simulated teak planking.

Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical Systems:

Located under the cockpit sole 2 x Volvo Penta 130HP naturally aspirated petrol engines.  Engines have been regularly serviced, carburettors overhauled, jets and diaphragms serviced 2009, The Outdrive bellows were last changed 2023, Sea water cooled. Twin lever controls with electric start. Sterndrive's to a 2 x 3 blade fixed aluminium props. 200 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Has a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots. Last major engine service 2022.

Electrical Systems:

2 x 135AH 24v batteries, (1x engine new 2018 1 x domestic new 2018 charging from alternator and 240v shorepower battery charger.

History and Construction:

This Princess 32's hull, deck and superstructure moulded in white GRP. Deck has teak effect covering and moulded non-slip in other areas. Internal joinery in teak and teak faced plywood. The hull was epoxied in 2008 as a preventative measure.

This boat has been well maintained by the owner and stored ashore every winter. The boat has just been antifouled and is ready to go. Owner is selling due to age and health
