1994 Hunter Horizon 30
The Hunter Horizon 30 is a popular family cruising yacht offering modern, spacious feeling accommodation along with Hunter's well regarded build quality. “White Lady” is the sought-after twin keel version offering shallow draft and the ability to take the ground, ideal for drying moorings or exploring shallow cruising grounds. She is a very good example of her class fitted with the desirable larger Yanmar 2GM20 engine.
Accommodation
The layout offers up to six berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. In the forecabin, V-berth with infill to form a double, beneath berth stowage and opening hatch to foredeck. In the saloon, bench settee to port & starboard, saloon table with drop leaves.
Galley to starboard with a two-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, single stainless-steel sink, top loading cool box and ample storage in various lockers and cupboards. Chart table aft to port with navigation equipment and electrical distribution panel, leading to separate heads compartment aft to port with marine toilet and washbasin.
Aft cabin to starboard fitted with a double berth and hanging locker. Teak cabinetry with neutral coloured upholstery. Hot and cold pressurised water supply throughout via a calorifier and immersion heater. Heated throughout via a diesel heater.

Fractional Bermudan rig sloop fitted with an alloy mast and boom. Stainless-steel standing rigging (original), with a manual backstay tensioner. Running rigging, mostly led aft to cockpit. Slab reefing to mainsail with mainsail cover. Headsail furling system.

Mechanical System
Powered by a Yanmar 2GM20 diesel engine. 2-cylinder 16HP, indirectly cooled and shaft driven to a fixed 2-blade propeller, with a rope cutter. Single plastic fuel tank with a 45L capacity and the engine was last serviced by the owner.
Electrical Equipment
2 x 12v batteries, domestic (2018) and engine start, charging from the alternator. This boat is also fitted with a 240v immersion heater.

Hunter Horizon 30 moulded by Hunter Boats Ltd in 1994 and designed by David Thomas. White GRP hull, superstructure and decks. Tiller steering to balanced rudder. Self-draining cockpit and anchor well. Last antifouled 2022 and ashore since December 2019, when the anodes were also changed. Please note that the wind vane in the photos is not included in the sale of this vessel.
