This Fairline 40 is presented in truly immaculate condition, one of the last Fairlines’ built with the keel profile, making her an exceptional sea boat with good handling at low speeds. Twin diesel engines on shafts, excellent fuel economy with low engine hours. 8 Berths in 4 cabins - Double master berth, Twin guest cabin, Converting double berth in the saloon and a Twin aft crew cabin. The first to view her will buy as she is simply the best example around today. With only two previous owners she has been primarily used for family cruising in the Bristol Channel. Extensive upgrading and renewal work has been carried our on a regular basis, including a complete new galley and flooring in 2006. All port holes were removed, cleaned and resealed in 2005. Service history
Maintained to a high standard with full service history. Recent maintenance include a full engine service in July 2010, antifoul and anodes July 2010. Propellers and driveshaft replaced in Aug 07. All fire fighting equipment was upgraded to conform with regulations in 2006.
Twin Volvo Penta TAMD61A Diesel engines (Hours 750 approx) Shaft driven through conventional gearboxes to propellers. Cruising speed approx 16 - 18 knots max speed 22 Knots Consumption 2 gallon/hour per engine at 1300 RPM, Range 500 Nm. Engines last serviced June 2010.
