Broker Remarks
The Elan 36 has been recognised throughout the years as an exceptional cruising yacht that offers excellent performance, the boat is spacious below decks and comfortably accommodates a family, or provides a comfortable yacht for a couple to do long distance cruising.
The construction of the Elan 36 is to a very high standard, this gives her the ability to stand up to all conditions safely and securely.
This Elan 36 has been in her current ownership for 19 years, she has been very well maintained by the owners, and upgraded when necessary.
The current owners of this Elan 36 are very experienced sailors and give nothing but praise to this fantastic yacht, and would recommend the Elan 36 to anybody.
The Elan 36 offers excellent comfort for helm and crew which is balanced with great performance and ease of handling.
Owners Remarks:
We have owned Gannet since 2006 and have been extremely pleased with her performance, short-handed or with a crew; she is easy to handle in all conditions.
We have used her as a cruising yacht although she could quite happily be used to race, we have entered a few of the local, long distance races and had relative success.
We have cruised the boat extensively along the south coast of England, and have ventured further afield to Brittany, North coast of Spain, Portugal, Southern Spain and into the Mediterranean.
