This is the best presented Cobra 850 bilge keeler currently on the market.
The present owner of 16 years has refitted her to a very high standard. But what would you expect of the person who ran the Cobra Owners Association for over five years. She was re-engined with a Yanmar 2GM 20 which has been serviced professionally every year. Her interior wood work has been expertly restored and is immaculate. Along with this all the laminate surfaces have been replaced to 'as new' condition along with the head linings throughout. The upholstery was replaced with attractive washable covers , a new cooker was fitted . Hatches have been replaced as needed along with a new boom , lazy jacks, spray hood and much more.
The Cobra 850 proved a very popular yacht with over 720 built . This David Feltham design is modern looking with great accommodation and full head height . She has a real solid feeling and is a stable capable passage maker. Being a bilge keeler she can explore the shallowest rivers and anchorages and take advantage of less expensive mooring options.
She is in tip top condition ready to sail for this season.
Accommodation
The Cobra 850 sleeps five. The forward cabin has a twin berth with a fill in to make a double. The saloon port seat pulls out to make a double and to the starboard aft side there is a large quarter berth. The heads are practical with a vanity unit and storage. The galley has a Plastimo 2000 cooker with grill and twin burners. She has a double sink and plenty of storage.
The chart table is amidships and forward facing.
