1976 Bruce Roberts Spray
A fantastic opportunity to purchase a well proven true Bluewater cruising yacht at a great price. The Spray 40 design has been successfully used by many long-distance yachtsmen and “Heron” has travelled far however her owner (who had her built and fitted her out from new) has sadly passed away. A very well constructed example with many unusual and practical features, “Heron” is priced competitively for a quick sale. Would make an ideal liveaboard. "Heron" is currently ashore being antifouled and having her deck painted and is being offered for sale with many engine spares.
Accommodation
The Bruce Roberts offers 4 berths in two cabins. Forward is a large storage area. To port is the heads with a vanity unit and marine toilet and shower with fully tiled floor.
The saloon offers two single settee berths, free standing table, and chairs, fully carpeted and curtains, lots of storage space, 6’ plus headroom throughout. Up to the wheelhouse, with a basic kitchen area, stainless steel sink and drainer with pressurised water supply from a 1150 litre tank, free standing Indesit four hob gas cooker with oven and grill.
To port is a small dining table, free standing fridge freezer. Access to the wheelhouse is via a doors either side midships. The aft cabin offers two single bunks to port and starboard, under bunk storage, two fitted wardrobes and a free-standing sideboard. Radio/CD
