Further Information

Biscay 36’ 1982 Offered. No 23 of only 29. Tax Paid. A rare opportunity to acquire a fast, well found, true blue water, thoroughbred cruising yacht with interesting provenance and history. She competed in the 2005 OSTAR Single Handed 3000 mile challenge, skippered by the then owner, broadcaster and presenter, Paul Heiney, whom subsequently published the story of his adventure.

Built by Falmouth  Boat Construction to Lloyds +100A1 (certificates present), she has also made a voyage to the Antarctic via Panama, gaining the accolade of being the GRP yacht to have travelled  furthest south on the planet at that time. Testimony to the build quality of the class.

Since 2008 the vessel has undergone regular upgrades to her specification and replacement of key facilities and equipment, such as her Engine, Autopilot and Drive, latest Hydrovane model, AIS, Radar and wisper quiet Eberspacher heating, with climate controller; all top quality equipment, bringing modern functionality and comforts, to her inherent classic design qualities.

Ayesha’s qualities are further evidenced by her class qualification for the Golden Globe none stop circumnavigation race, and the Biscay 36’s success this year, with Simon Curwin gaining Race Honours for the fastest completion of the race and another Biscay coming in 4th place.
