Broker Remarks
This Beneteau First 305 is a very clean example of the First 305 that has been in her current ownership for four years and previous ownership for nineteen years .There has been a continual program of renewing equipment over this period and she has been well cared for. She has a good sailing performance and with two cabins plus the saloon would make an ideal family cruiser/racer. Well worth an early inspection.
Accommodation
The Beneteau First 305 offers six berths in three cabins with full headroom. The forward cabin has a V berth with infill, to make into a double berth with storage below, a hanging locker and a deck hatch.
The saloon has two settee berths with a central table with drop leaves that can comfortably seat six people. There is storage under and behind the settee berths.
The navigation station is to Starboard with an array of instruments, large navigation table and storage for navigation books. Aft of the Navigation Station is the heads compartment with a marine toilet, wash-basin with pressurised cold water and 42-litre holding tank.
The galley is aft and to Port. It has twin stainless steel sinks, two burner gas hob with grill (2013), gas hoses replaced 2018, 240V Microwave (2013) with grill and coolbox. There is a collapsible water tank that holds approx 60 litres Teak fit out below. Teak and holly saloon floor. Upholstered in Blue/Grey Draylon and is curtained throughout. There is also an Eberspacher D1 diesel cabin heating system fitted.
The aft cabin has a double berth with storage beneath and hanging locker. Companionway steps lead up to the cockpit which can seat six people.

Located under companionway in soundproofed and vented compartment. 1988 Volvo Penta 2002 marine diesel engine. 18hp. Twin cylinders. Electric start. Sea water cooled. Shaft drive to folding two bladed propeller. Single lever engine controls (new 2008). 25- litres steel fuel tank. Cutlass bearing last changed in June 2022. Approximately 5 knots cruising speed. The engine was last serviced in 2021.

Two 12V 70AH batteries in two banks charging via engine alternator and 240V shore power charger. Batteries are approximately six years old.

Self-draining cockpit and anchor well. Teak slats to cockpit seats. Liferaft stowage at the aft end of the cockpit. Teak coachroof handrails. Only had three previous owners.
