The Beneteau Antares 6.6 is a fine sea boat with a spacious cockpit for fishing or just lounging around. The space below is adequate for the occasional overnight stop with minimal but adequate facilities for cooking and dining. “Viper” is a great little boat for fishing and estuary or coastal cruising. She has had very little use but is ready to go and well worth viewing.
Accommodation
Occasional accommodation for two with blue vinyl upholstery, still in its original protection. Dinette fwd with removable table and infill to form double berth (table can also be used in cockpit). Step up to helm area with stowage and fishing tackle lockers to port and adjustable moulded plastic helmsmanÂ’s seat to stbd on moulded GRP plinth with moulded in sink, fresh water hand pump and 12v 42 litre fridge. S/steel helmsmanÂ’s foot brace and 2 x wheelhouse grab handles. Sliding door to cockpit. Sliding windows to p&s and alloy framed acrylic hatch on wheelhouse. Engine access hatch with fold out sun bed on top. Acccess hatch to stowage locker aft. Quarter seat to stbd. Access gate to swim platform to port. Bolt on swim platform.
Mechanical and Rigging
Build Aft cockpit fast cruising / fishing boat with saloon / berths for two and a small galley. Designed Beneteau Desing / Sarazin Design and built by Beneteau in 2006 – 2006 model launched 2006. Construction White GRP planing hull with shaft log and partial skeg in front of prop, deck, coachroof, wheelhouse and self draining cockpit with moulded in non skid pattern. Internal GRP mouldings with varnished mahogany faced marine ply joinery. Teak and holly faced sole boards. Cable type wheel steering. Emergency tiller. Mechanics Single Volvo D3 115HP four cylinder diesel engine. Fresh water heat exchanger cooling. Flex mounts. Single lever controls in both cockpit and at helm with trolling valve in cockpit. Direct shaft drive to a three blade fixed pitch propeller. Fully serviced 2009 Fuel Tank – 120 ltr Water Tank – 20 ltr Electrics 12 volt system – Single 12v lead acid battery charged by engine driven alternator. 12v lighting. Std navigation lights. 2 x Vetus 12v windscreen wipers. 12v outlet by helm.
