Hardy Motor Boats trace their origins back to 1975, when brothers David and John Hardy, inspired by the boating traditions of the Norfolk Broads, first set out to create reliable, all-weather craft. In 1976, John Hardy formally founded Hardy Marine, setting up production of small cruisers designed to tackle the ever-changing British climate. Even in those early days, Hardy's vessels earned a reputation for marrying robust design with the comforts needed for extended cruising- qualities that would become the brand's calling card.
