"After Sailboat magazine editors spent many months sailing, studying, evaluating and finally discussing all the latest that the boat-building industry had to offer. Sailboat Magazine announced a total of eight winners for its 2021 Best Boats Awards in the January to February Magazine issue.

The Editor said, "Given the pandemic and pure lack of boat shows, we weren't sure we were going to be able to pull this off. "But in the end, our 2021 Best Boat contest exceeded any expectations, both in terms of quality and the numbers of boats we were able to sail. A big thank you and congratulations to our winners. The boat-building industry as a whole did such a great job in these trying times."
