Najad 331

This stunning Najad 331 was built in 2004 by Najad Yachts in Sweden to a design by Erik Segerlind. RUBY has a warm white GRP hull with red trim lines, complemented by teak decks, cockpit and bathing platform.  This Najad 331 has tiller steering (which it is felt gives more feedback to the helmsman, as well as more space in the cockpit) and the typical Nordic toughened glass windscreen. She is powered by a single Volvo Penta 28hp engine which has completed approximately 1200 hours and has been regularly serviced.

Najad build yachts that offer performance, comfort and security at sea.  Beautifully designed as ocean-going yachts that can be handled by two people with exemplary craftsmanship.

Fractional rigged sloop with standing rigging checked (but not renewed in 2017), stack pack with lazy jacks, back stay adjuster and headsail roller furling. Equipment includes, radar, chartplotter, autopilot, navtex, electric anchor windlass, radar reflector, 4 – person life raft, EPIRB and MOB recovery equipment.  Extra equipment includes gates (port and starboard), teak on bathing platform steps, anchor chain swivel, full canvas cockpit extension cover, 2 x extra mooring cleats and mooring pick up hook.  Seacocks fitted to holding tank and heads, May 2018.

This lovely Najad 331 has been in the current ownership for over 10 years and her owners have been meticulous in their care.  The engine has been serviced and winterised by the local Volvo engineers annually and the boat has always been wintered ashore.  The boat has been lightly used and there is little evidence of wear and tear.  Below decks there are two sleeping cabins, both with double berths.  Mahogany internal joinery with a hand rubbed satin finish.  Blue fabric upholstery with an additional 3” cushioning for comfort.  Eberspacher cabin heating throughout. The saloon has settee berths to port and starboard, with lee cloths. The owners’ cabin is aft and offers a large double berth with a mattress topper.  The fore cabin has a V berth that can be used as two singles or a double with infill.
