Falmouth Marina gets the green light

Permission for the new 290-berth marina between the western, Queen’s and Duchy wharfs in Falmouth has finally been given after a three year delay. Permission was first granted in 2007, but subject to an environmental impact survey that has only just been completed. The marina’s pontoons will be secured by cables to the seabed, rather than to pilings, and will be secured by cables to the seabed, rather than to pilings, and will be able to accommodate vessels up to 80m.
