Discounted Rope Offer extended…
We would like to thank everyone who supported the “Secure your boat” weekend held in Network Yacht Chandlers last weekend with the joint cooperation of the Conwy Marina Berth Holders Association (CMBHA). Yachtmaster Eric Crowther was on hand to offer advice on choice of ropes and securing your boat correctly, and although not everyone took advantage of the opportunity, our thanks go to Eric for his time and trouble.
Each year when the strong winds return, boats in Conwy and Deganwy marinas break free from their moorings or pontoon. causing often catastrophic damage to adjacent boats. It is up to all of us to keep an eye out for potential issues this winter and we will all benefit from ensuring our Marinas are safe and secure havens for our boats. Apart from the obvious damage that can be caused to our cherished possessions, there is a long term benefit in keeping Conwy and Deganwy a low-claim area in terms of insurance related issues.
