This Comet 100 RS   is a stunning ocean going yacht and is just over 100 feet in length, the ‘RS’ represents the raised saloon.  The interior is suberbly finished in hand crafted solid teak trim and veneers, teak doors and satin finished varnished teak floors in a simple modern classic style.  The hull, deck and superstructure are e-glass and carbon composite and are post cured and painted in dark grey Awlgrip.

SHADOW was built in 2011 by Comar yachts, designed by Valicelli and Co, Yacht designers in Italy, Spars by Hall spars, Sails all by One sails; Main is a millenium one piece with carbon battens and a massive 273.4 m sail area.

The deck equipment consist of a three spreader carbon Hall Spars rig with a keel stepped mast, park venue boom and integrated carbon spinnaker pole.  All standing rigging, boom vang and backstay hydraulics are by Bamar.  Harken ‘Black Magic’ tackles, rails , cars and blocks.  Harken deck hardware throughout.

This Comet 100 RS  sleeps eight guests in a master suite (with a king sized berth and full ensuite), three ensuite guest cabins plus accomodation for four crew.  The fourth guest cabin is convertable and can also be used as the captains cabin.

The saloon features a ‘C’ shaped sofa and dining table for 10 to port, a pop up TV, coffee table, sofa, library and ample stowage.  The galley has low level storage, a three burner gas cooker with oven, corian work tops and Fridge and freezer.  The ‘crew quarters’ have  a mess area, helm station with chart table and a navigation station on the centre line with crew accomodation for four to port and starboard in 2 cabins.

Equipment includes, watermaker, generator and comprehensive navigation centre.

SHADOW has a racing pedigree, she is a lifting keel performance cruiser that is ‘blue water’ ready or she can be stripped out for racing- the choice is yours.  Berthed in Limassol, Cyprus, July 2017.
