Just Reduced - The Yarmouth 23 is a lovely yacht, offering a spacious accommodation and presented in very good condition. This yacht has been well maintained with regular maintenance and several upgrades including new sails in 2019 and navigation equipment in 2020. A 2019 survey report is available onboard.  

Accommodation

The Yarmouth 23’s layout offers 4 berths between the forward cabin has a v-berth and twin settees either side of the saloon. There is a lot of storage in lockers on both port and starboard sides and underneath the seating. There is 6ft 2” of cabin headroom and the upholstery is a cloth grey/blue colour throughout the yacht.

The galley is fitted with a stainless-steel sink, single burner gas cooker and pressurised hot and cold, heated via a calorifier. This yacht has a freshwater tank capacity of capacity of 50L. The Yarmouth 23 is fitted with a marine head with a sink and shower.

Mechanical and Rigging

This Yarmouth 23 is a gaff rigged cutter fitted with a tabernacle and the mast and boom are of a wood construction, original to the boat. The standing rigging is stainless-steel and replaced 2019 and the running rigging was last replaced in 2020. The mainsail it has slab reefing, with lazyjacks and a furling headsail and staysail.

Powered by a diesel 13.5HP Beta marine engine and has 1000 hours use as of 06/12/22. This engine is a 2-cylinder 13.5HP which features indirect cooling and shaft drive to a fixed, 3-blade propellor. There is a shaft rope cutter and a fuel capacity of 35L in a plastic tank. The Yarmouth 23 has a cruising speed of 6kn and a max speed of 7kn. The engine was last serviced by PMT Engineering in 2022.

Electrical Systems
2 x 12v batteries, 1 x domestic at 110Amp hour (2020) and 1 x engine start at 90Amp hour (2020), both charging from the alternator. This boat has a 240v shore power connection.

History & Construction
The Yarmouth 23 was built in 2001 with a blue GRP hull and cream superstructure and deck. Tiller steering to transom rudder. The cutlass bearing was last changed in 2019 and the yacht’s anodes were replaced and the boat antifouled in 2022. This yacht has been in the current ownership for 2 and a half years and is being sold due to ill health. This Yarmouth 23 has had 3 previous owners.
