Broker Remarks

Owners Remarks:
Silkie is a Westerly Tempest built 1990. She was the Southampton Boat Show model hence the teak cockpit seats. The first owner kept her at Largs but for the five years before we had her she was in the Mediterranean and was kept ashore except for the two periods of three weeks each year when she was cruised.

We purchased her in November 2001 at which time she had been ashore for six months. The hull was epoxied and the head lining replaced before launching the following May.

She was moored at Southampton for seven years then we took her to Dartmouth and now for the last two years we have moored at mayflower marina, Plymouth.

Silkie has wintered ashore all the time we have had her and we have succeeded in keeping her in good condition.
