Broker Remarks

Antifouled summer 2008 and serviced annually. This is a good example of this popular sailer which boasts the advantage of bilge keel, larger mast and diesel heating

Accommodation

Completed in teak joinery with blue velour upholstery and matching curtains. The vessel accommodated 7 in two separate cabins and a saloon conversion. Both cabins have hanging lockers and stowage. The forward cabin also a hand basin with hot and cold water supply. The saloon holds a u-shaped berth to port with a pilot single to stbd. The large chart table is located to stbd with multiple navigational aids and stowage. A separate heads compartment holding a marine toilet wash basin and wet locker is located stbd side. Finally the galley is located to port opposite the chart table. This has a new stainless steel gimballed Plastimo two burner gas hob with oven and grill (2007), twin stainless steel sinks and a refrigerator. Full standing headroom throughout.

One of the Latest built Westerly Storms Built in 1993 by Westerly Yachts and designed by Ed Dubois. Larger mast with twin spreaders White GRP hull and superstructure. Bilge keel Tiller steering The hull was epoxy coated in 1995. Teak rubbing strake. Deck has blue painted non-slip deck Sugar scoop transom Self draining aft Masthead Bermudan Powered by single Volvo 28HP 3-cylinder diesel engine. Last serviced in July 2008. Conventional shaft drive to a fixed 3 blade propeller. Crusing speed 6 - 7 knots Maximum speed 7.5 knots Electrics: 12v system supplied by 3-batteries (2006) Switched & charged by engine alternator, 240v battery charger and a Rutland 913 wind Turbine (250W rated turbine). Tankage: 82 litre (18 gallon) fuel tank 363 litre (80 gallon) fresh water tank Water system Holding tank for heads with deck pump out connection or 3-way valve to discharge through hull.
