Broker Remarks
We are pleased to offer to the market this Westerly Chieftain representing very good value for a yacht of this type and style, a robust and well laid out family cruiser, the Westerly Chieftain was a centre cockpit version of the ever popular Westerly Centaur, designed and constructed on the same well proven hull and built between 1972 - 1976.
The interior to the Westerly Chieftain shares some similarities to that of the Centaur but the addition of the aft cabin really makes the most of the available space aboard meaning that you can sleep an additional two persons in dedicated berths giving a superb layout option inside whilst the better enclosed cockpit space means you and your crew can stay safe at all times.
This boat has had the keels removed and re-bedded (2014) along with a new rudder (2010) and has had delaimination work completed (2014). Documentary evidence of this is available for inspection at our offices.
