Broker Remarks

Westerly Centaur 1979, commissioned 1980, one of the very last ones built, well looked after and tidy example with engines serviced annually, only two owners from new and used for light coastal cruising only. Original documentation and date of last survey Oct 2004.

Accommodation

5 berths in 2 cabins, including a double berth in a separate cabin forward, plus an extra double berth in. The Galley is equipped with a propane gas 2 burner hob and grill, and a sink supplied with cold water by a foot pump. Separate heads with washbasin to port.

Mechanical and Rigging

Built by Westerly Yachts designed by Laurent Giles. Sloop with bilge keels, tiller steering, GRP hull deck and superstructure. White hull with white deck, chromed steel push and pulpit. Inboard Bukh DV20 20hp diesel engine, 1979 last serviced 2008. Shaft driven 3 bladed propeller. TANKAGE: Fuel: 10 gallons steel tank Water: 15 gallons ELECTRICS: 2 x 12 volt batteries charged by engine alternator. Sloop rigged, aluminium mast and boom. In Mast main and roller headsail with anodised aluminium spars.
