Broker Remarks

This Vancouver 32 is a very good example, she only in her second ownership since new and the current owners have owned her for 11 years.
The current owners over the years have upgraded and maintained this yacht to a very high standard, her condition and inventory is excellent!
Her condition both externally and internally is very good with very little wear on woodwork or the GRP.
Vancouver Yachts/Northshore are steeped in history and have a superb reputation for building high quality go anywhere sailing yachts. This Vancouver 32 certainly fits into that bracket, she is capable of fast passages in all conditions and will tackle most conditions that more modern and lightweight yachts wouldn't dare to. The more modern long keel arrangement allows easy handling, she becomes predictable and reliable when needed. This makes her a fantastic yacht to sail shorthanded!

Owners Comments:

'Tarka of Orwell' is a mast head Bermudian cutter of conventional long keel with lead ballast and a transom hung rudder. The hull form is of GRP construction. There has been just one previous owner, who latterly berthed the boat in Titmarsh Marina Essex.
Their cruising ground was the North Sea to Holland, English Channel, France and the West Country. We have owned 'Tarka of Orwell' since November 2006. In April 2007 we began our cruising, sailing from Titmarsh Marina across the Thames and back to the West Country.
In our ownership 'Tarka' has been cruised in the West Country including the Isles of Scilly, to Ireland, Channel Islands and as far as South Brittany. She has been a fantastic boat for us and we are sad to see her go.
