Broker Remarks
'Lisette' is a Stormalong 26 triple keel motor boat built by the Macbar yard of Poole in 1987. This yard also built Contessa 32's. She was designed by Derek Shaw, who also designed the Seward 25, which she bears a very favourable comparison to.
She has been re-engined with a Volvo D2-40, which has been very well maintained by her present owner, as, in fact, has the whole boat. She has quality wood joinery, and her upholstery is in very good condition.
She has four berths and a good-sized saloon area with a folding dining table. She has a well-laid out galley with an Origo 3000 Alcohol stove, refrigerator and sink with hot water and plenty of storage. The cockpit is spacious, with a full set of cockpit cushions and a cockpit tent in very good condition. She has particularly good headroom of over 6 feet.
She is a capable offshore/estuary cruiser equally at home on the inland waterways. The present owners have cruised extensively along the English coast, Channel Islands and France.
This Stormalong 26 is very comparable to a Seward 23/25 and Hardy 25's. In many ways, she has better accommodation and a larger cockpit area.
She is very easily handled and has a refurbished windlass and an autohelm.
She has just gone back in the water , she is antifouled, her engine serviced and is absolutely ready for this season.

Accommodation
The MacBar Stormalong 26 sleeps 4. The saloon is light and airy with a folding dining table. The cockpit is large with full cockpit cushions and two cockpit tents for winter and summer. The heads is to port with a sea toilet, sink and storage. The galley has a sink with hot water, a refrigerator, an alcohol stove and dry storage.
