Broker Remarks
This 33 was one of the more recently built Sigmas (No 330/364) and is in excellent condition. She has been well maintained and wintered ashore every year. She is set up for double handed cruising but also remains in class and configured for racing. An expanding family is the only reason she is for sale. Viewing is highly recommended.
Accommodation
Forecabin with V berth and infil for a double. Heads compartment with sea water toilet, moulded washbasin and large hanging locker to starboard. Saloon with L shaped seating to port with saloon table which lowers into a double berth, settee berth and pilot berth above to starboard. Chart table to port with quarter berth aft and galley to starboard with sink, gas cooker and coolbox.
Mechanical and Rigging
Built by Marine Projects of Plymouth and designed by David Thomas. The hull and deck are moulded GRP with foam top hat stringers making a very strong and well built yacht. The class association on these yachts is very strong and she complies fully with these enabling her to have an IRC One Design Certificate Volvo 18hp 2 cylinder diesel, model 2002, driving a 2 bladed folding propeller (2007), new stern gland fitted in 2004. 15 gallons diesel and 40 gallons fresh water. 2 x 12v batteries charged by engine driven alternator. Alloy mast, boom and spinnaker pole with stainless steel standing rigging. Furlex 200 headsail reefing system with Tuff Luff twin groove new 2007, slab reefing to main. Genesis Platinum racing main Genesis Platinum racing No1 genoa Genesis racing N. 2 geno.... all 3 sails in excellent condition Lightweight and heavy spinnaker Storm jib unused Assortment of cruising sails including 2 mainsails, 3 x No1 genoas, 1 x No2 genoa and 1 x No3 genoa 2 x Lewmar 43 primary winches, 2 x Lewmar 16 spinnaker winches, 8 Spinlock roof jammers 8:1 mainsheet system with new jammer and blocks 2006 Lazy jacks, Kemp rod kicker, Mainsail cover 2004.
