Broker Remarks

This boat was purchased direct from Seamaster Ltd as a fully assembled hull/deck. Bolted keel and rudder complete, hatches and push/pullpits loose in November 1979. She was mechanically fitted out by the owner, with woodwork by Shipwright, the mast and standing rigging by Sailspar, Brightlingsea. The boat was launched in July 1980. She is in good condition having been maintained by her owner from new and sailed regularly at weekends locally and annually being sailed to Holland/Belguium for holidays. She has proved excellent sea performance in a variety of conditions. She has been stored ashore each Winter for a minimum of 5 months. Capable of sleeping 6 but has been found a max of 4 crew for most comfortable passage making. Her current owner has also wintered her ashore every year and has been used only for family cruising. Subsequent modifications:-1988 Hull and topsides professionally sprayed.1992 Flexible drive coupling and engine mounts replaced1994 Head sail roller furling installed and all standing rigging replaced by Sailspar. Mechanical and Rigging

1 x Yanmar 2GM15, 15 hp diesel engine with shaft drive. Fuel capacity 16 gallons in stainless steel tankWater capacity 100 gallons in 2 rigid plastic tanks. SERVICE HISTORY:- The engine was professionally stripped and overhauled. New bearings, pistons etc by Yanmar main dealer in 2003. New engine mounts, new 100ahr batteries and gearbox checked with new oil in 2003. New cutlass bearing and stuffing gland re-packed in 2001, new parts on water pump in 2003.
