Broker Remarks

This Saga 26 HT is an extremely well cared for boat, she has been in the same ownership since 2002 and very much loved by the owner.
She has a Yanmar 95hp turbo engine that has always been professionally maintained, serviced & winterized each season, the engine has 400 engine hours & it performs excellently, the engine & engine bay is immaculate, a joy to look at!!
The Saga 26 HT is a fantastic cruiser she offers excellent accommodation & entertaining space for just a 26 foot boat, she is the perfect transitional boat for the retiring yachtsman. She offers berths for up to 5 if you sleep 2 on the double in the cockpit, but has a double berth below deck & a single port side single quarter berth. She has hot water for showers mains electricity & a galley with 2 burner hob.
Saga Boats in Norway are renowned for their well crafted boats that have conservative styling and superb sea keeping qualities, this boat really will look after you in a seaway with its long keel & hull sections giving you the confidence you need.
The handling of the Saga 26HT is precise, the propeller is nicely tucked behind the keel which gives positive thrust to the rudder for quick response slow speed manoeuvring, added to this is the benefit of a bow thruster if really needed.
If you are looking for a good quality motor boat with some substance and top build quality then you should certainly consider this Saga 26HT.

Owners Remarks:
I am a Master Mariner (All tonnage, all oceans) and have spent my life in ships and boats
I have owned "Bluey" for 14 years and selling her is like losing a friend, that has never let me down,
She has been maintained and serviced annually and winterised on the hard standing here for 5 months of each year
She is a good seaworthy vessel and has been used mainly for day outings with occasional longer trips to Falmouth, Fowey
and the Dart. Also overnighters to the River Yealm.
I am now 80, with some health issues so she is for sale. Should you buy you will own a good solid sea cruiser
Please look after her as I have

Accommodation

The boat has been designed with an open back to the wheelhouse, opening up the large cockpit to become part of the accommodation space, with the galley located between the inside & outside spaces.
The full cockpit cover opens up the cockpit to be usable in all weathers.
The boat also benefits from having infill cushions for the stern seating, this creates a large sunbed or could also be used as
a double berth during the summer season
The joinery is all in teak and is of real quality.

The accommodation below deck is accessed via a wide companionway to port of the helm station.
