Broker Remarks

Saga boats are a Norwegian boat-building company renowned for their well-crafted boats with conservative styling and superb sea keeping qualities. The Saga 26HT has a long keel and hull sections that provide stability at sea allowing you to cruise with confidence. The handling is excellent and the propeller is positioned between the rudder and the keel, which gives positive thrust to the rudder for quick response even whilst manoeuvring slowly. 'Bluey' is also equipped with a bow thruster, so you should have no trouble manoeuvring around in tight spaces.

The Saga 26HT is a capable and comfortable cruiser that performs well on the sea. She has great accommodation with space to entertain. She offers 5 berths with a convertible berth in the cockpit as well as a double berth below decks and a port-side single quarter berth. She is equipped with hot water facilities including a shower, mains electricity and a galley complete wth a two-burner hob.

This is an excellent example of the Saga 26HT that has been very well cared for by its previous owners. 'Bluey' has a Yanmar 95hp turbo engine that has always been professionally maintained and serviced throughout its life, and as such, performs very well, it has relatively low running hours at 750 hours.

She is available to view in Lymington 7 days a week. Please contact Douglas Ross on 07469972705 to arrange a viewing.

The boat has been designed with an open back to the wheelhouse, opening up the large cockpit to become part of the accommodation space, with the galley located between the inside and outside spaces. The full cockpit cover is new and opens up the cockpit to be usable in all weathers. The stern seating has infill cushions, which create a large sunbed which can be used as a double berth.

The accommodation below deck is accessed via a wide companionway to port of the helm seat. The U-shaped dinette provides a comfortable living space for crew with the large centrally mounted table dropping to create a large double berth. Plenty of storage is available.
