Barracuda of Tarrant was the original Sadler Barracuda featured in the TV series Howard's way. Built in 1986 she is a real piece of history and over the years has had many high profile owners and skippers. She is a unique yacht designed by Tony Castro, with a lifting keel and twin rudders she is extremely balanced and effortlessly fast reaching a max speed of 24 knots!!!!! Accommodation

Barracuda has 2 double aft cabins. There is a linear galley to port With a Vannessa gas oven, grill, and two burner hob. There is lift top fridge, microwave pressurized hot and cold water. There is heads and shower room to starboard. Going forward it then opens up into a large main saloon with settees on both sides. Forward again and there is a large area for stowage and two full length pilot berths.

Mechanical and Rigging

The Sadler Barracuda is a classic design by Tony Castro. She has her original epoxy bonded Cedar planked hull which is GRP sheathed as featured in 'Howard's Way' this makes her stiffer, lighter and generally more durable than many of her GRP sister ships.
