Broker Remarks

This 1980 Rival 38A has been with its present owner for over 10 years and with the previous owner 20 years. She is the aft cockpit version with an aft cabin and is powered by a 2019 Beta 43HP diesel engine with only about 100 engine hours. Her inventory includes wheel steering, bow thruster, 2024 standing rigging, 2022 running rigging, slab reefing mainsail, 2016 furling genoa, 2025 lazy bag, cruising chute with snuffer, 7 berths, life raft, colour chart plotter, radar, heating, mast steps, hot water and more! "TE-KIRI" has been well minded and viewing is recommended.

Accommodation

Teak finish
FORWARD CABIN
Two single berths can convert to a double. Opening deck hatch, fixed portholes at either side of the coachroof, shelving, hanging locker, drawers and storage under the berths.
SALOON
U-shaped settee to port with a settee opposite to starboard (single berth). There is also a pull out cot berth over the starboard settee. Large saloon table with a drop leaf, opening deck hatch and loads of locker space.
GALLEY
The L-shaped galley is located to starboard beside the companionway steps. 2017 "Neptune" two burner gas cooker with grill and oven. Two stainless steel sinks, engine driven/12 Volt refrigerator and a double cool box under the starboard settee. Loads of storage room. Hot water via Calorifier (engine and 240 Volt immersion). Back up hand pump for fresh water. Hand pump for salt water.
NAVIGATION STATION
Forward facing chart table is to port opposite the galley with instruments and electrical switch panel
HEADS
Shower and heads to port between the Nav. Station and the aft cabin with a 2001 Blake marine toilet. Hand basin, hot water and electric pump for the shower tray.
AFT CABIN The aft cabin can be accessed by a door from the galley to starboard or via the heads. Two single berths, escape hatch into the cockpit and two opening portholes. Headroom is excellent as a result of the bridge deck. Again loads of storage.
