Broker Remarks

Oyster Lightwave 395 AD for Sale.  Designed by Carl Schumaker as a high performance cruiser racer, 22 lightwaves were built by Oyster Marine, Prelude II was hull number 7.  The 'AD' means added draft and PRELUDE II has the advantage of a deeper heavier keel.  The Oyster Lightwave 395 has a simple masthead sloop rig and most sail handling tasks can be accomplished with ease from the cockpit.  The interior is spacious, practical and light with the fold away dining table giving a clutter free space in the saloon. The standing rigging was installed in 1990 with the forestay replaced in July 2017.  The running rigging was also replaced in July 2017.  The comprehensive Navigation equipment was all fitted in 2012 and includes Autohelm ST 60 Autopilot and GPS.
