Broker Remarks

This Ocean Broom 38 is a very nice example, she has been owned for the last 6 years by the current owners, they have kept this boat in immaculate condition, she really does present very well.
This Broom 38 has been updated with some choice items, most noticeably is the new digital radar & Raymarine C120 chartplotter.
The boat has also had the upholstery & carpets renewed, which looks great.
The Upholstery in the cockpit is in very good condition & there has also been the neat addition of teak cockpit flooring, which finishes off the cockpit very nicely.
This Ocean Broom 38 has all of the typical luxuries, such as Eberspacher diesel heating, hot & cold pressurised water, Two separate heads, large owners cabin with an island berth, solar covers for the windows allowing shaded light in, mains electricity & extremely comfortable social spaces below deck & in the cockpit.
The boat has twin Perkins 260hp diesel engines, they have been meticulously maintained and in 2016 had the usual filters, belts, oil & the engine coolant replaced. The engines have 1060 hours on them & there has never been any troubles mechanically.
It would be hard to find another Broom 38 in the same condition as this one, if you are searching for a Broom 38 then this boat should be top of your list of boats to view!

Owners Comments:
Done & Dusted was purchased in 2012 with the intention of comfortable, long term cruising.
A light and airy interior, generous aft cabin, quality woodwork & fit out were our priorities.
The low revving Perkins engines & underwater exhausts means cruising is both quiet & relaxed. D & D has met all of our requirements!
During our ownership we left the east coast & travelled the length of the South Coast as far as the Helford River.
The Channel Islands was our next destination which proved so enjoyable, we stayed for two seasons.
Before leaving last year we explored the North Brittany Coast.
The Previous owners had obviously lavished much time & money on her upkeep, replacing upholstery, canopy & carpets just prior to our ownership. we have continued to maintain her to the same high standards!
