Accommodation

Minimum 6 berths across 4 cabins, comprising: a large double v-berth fore cabin, twin bunk cabin (located between the saloon and the fore cabin) and a large aft master cabin with a double island berth bed and en-suite heads with shower. The u-shaped settee in the saloon could be used for additional berths, if required. The second heads compartment (also with shower) is located forward of the raised deck saloon). Both heads comprise manually operated sea toilets. The well-thought out sea-going galley is situated in the passageway between the raised deck saloon and the aft master cabin. The galley includes a top and front loading 12v fridge, a 3-burner gas stove and oven, an 800W DeLonghi microwave, two stainless steel sinks (with hot and cold mixer tap, manual freshwater and seawater pumps and a filtered water tap). A freezer is located forward. There is comfortable seating for 8 in the saloon around the large table, which opens further to reveal attractive wood inlay work. There are copious amounts hanging stowage in each of the cabins, as well as various lockers, drawers and under seat stowage in the saloon, galley and walkways. There is a linen cupboard off the aft cabin. The interior of the boat is both fully air-conditioned and heated.

Mechanical and Rigging

Deck saloon style cutter-rigged sloop with hull, deck and superstructure in GRP. White gel-coat superstructure and coach-roof; teak laid cockpit sole, cockpit seats and decks; and a dark blue hull painted with Awlgrip (July 2008). There is gold painted detailing to the hull above the teak and stainless steel rubbing strake. Ample deck stowage comprising: two lazarettes on the aft deck, one in the transom and one on the fore deck. Wheel steering. Designer: Marcelo Penna Builder: North Wind Yard S.L., Barcelona Yanmar 4JH2 HTBE 75 hp. Shaft-driven 3-blade fixed propeller. Diesel Tanks: 520 litres (2 x stainless steel); Water Tanks: 750 litres (2 x stainless steel); and Holding Tanks: 70 litres (2 x stainless steel). Cutter rigged sloop. Double spreader rig with substantially sized cap and lower shrouds; running backstays; and an adjustable, insulated backstay. The spars are custom made by Selden and include a spinnaker pole fitted on a mast-track and a Selden RodKicker vang. All are white painted aluminium alloy. In-mast furling (Selden Furlin’) for the mainsail; roller furling (Selden Furlex) for both headsails. There are 2 sets of sails: the original furling mainsail and genoa (1998); and a vertically battened mainsail and a vertically battened genoa. All the winches are by Lewmar. The primary winches are electric powered Lewmar ST 58’s; the mainsail furling winch in an electric Lewmar ST48. The mainsheet system utilises a Harken track and clutches, together with 2 x Lewmar ST48 winches. The 2 x mast-mounted halyard winches are Lewmar ST40’s. There are various clutches and cleats. The genoa tracks are set up with twin cars.
