Owner's Description
"Aven" had cruised from Ireland to Norway and back to Ireland last summer (2024). She is ready for more cruising. She has been maintained very well, including having her diesel tank cleaned and new insulation added around the air ducts making the cabin warm and cozy.
Yachting Monthly wrote that the "Nicholson 35 was designed to take almost any adverse weather and sea conditions in her stride. Her overhanging, deep-vee bow section means she parts the waves resolutely, with little or no drama or spray."
Only about 230 were built over their long production run with minor alterations over the years from MK 1 to MK VII versions. She is named after the river Aven in Brittany by her previous owner (only four owners in total). This blue water cruiser will be enjoyed for many more years to come.
