Broker Remarks
Built by Nautor in 1979 to a Ron Holland design, this Swan 441 is a true classic with proven offshore capability. She features a GRP hull, teak decks, skeg-hung rudder, and wheel steering. Her topsides were professionally repainted by Berthon in 2010.
Mechanically, she benefits from a Beta Marine 50 HE engine (new in 2010, overhauled in 2021), a ZF gearbox (2021), and a Featherstream folding prop. A comprehensive service history and spare parts inventory underline her excellent care.
Upgrades in 2021 included new Rolls AGM house batteries, solar panels, a Victron inverter/charger, a watermaker, and navigation equipment. She's fitted with rod rigging, in-mast furling, and new Dyneema halyards, making her manageable for short-handed sailing.
Her electronics package is extensive, featuring a Raymarine chartplotter and radar, AIS, SSB radio, an Iridium GO! (2021) device, and a B&G autopilot and instruments. On deck, she boasts electric winches, a new Vulcan anchor with Mantus swivel (2023), and a well-equipped sail handling setup.
Below deck, she sleeps up to eight with a spacious saloon, practical galley, large aft cabin, and warm teak joinery throughout. Safety equipment is comprehensive, featuring a recently serviced liferaft (2024), EPIRB, fire protection, and additional safety features.
This Swan 441 combines pedigree, performance, and comfort—an ideal choice for serious cruising or extended offshore sailing.
