The Moody 419cc is a very popular centre cockpit family cruiser from the board of Bill Dixon with comfortable accommodation for six in three separate cabins and two heads compartments (aft en-suite). The owner’s state room is access via a passageway which is fitted with hanging space and lockers. The owner’s cabin has a large double berth a corner seat hanging locker, dressing table / desk and en suite heads and shower. The fore cabin has 2 single berths that convert to a double with a forward heads to starboard. The forward guest cabin is to port and has twin upper an lower berths with a hanging locker and dressing table. The saloon has two 'L' shaped settees and a large dining table and a Dickenson Newport Heater, as well as Eberspacher cabin heating with outlets in the saloon and cabins. The fully equipped galley is separated from the saloon by a semi bulkhead and contains a cooker and top opening fridge. The separate navigation station area is opposite the galley on the starboard side adjacent to the companionway and is self contained with a large chart table, this completes the interior. Summer Winds is powered by an economical Thornycroft 50hp diesel. ‘Summer Winds’ is a Masthead sloop rigged with a twin spreader mast supporting a massive 950 square feet of sail area of the battened mainsail and furling genoa. This Moody 419 cc is sturdy, safe and very comfortable, the Moody range have a good reputation all over the world.
