Broker Remarks

Built in 1989 for the present owner. This Moody 376 is a well maintained example of this ever popular fin keel family cruiser. Powered by aThornycroft 35hp diesel engine.  Accommodation for 7 in 2 double cabins plus the saloon.  Eberspacher heating throughout.  Two heads compartments. Sloop rigged with Kemp double spreader mast. In-mast mainsail furling and Furlex headsail furling. Good cruising inventory including tender and outboard, life raft, cruising chute, spinnaker and storm jib, radar, GPS and autopilot.  The centre cockpit feels snug and its seats are trimmed with teak.  There is only one cockpit locker although it is very deep and you need a ladder to explore its depths, a dinghy (or a small child) could easily be lost in it. The companionway leads straight to the centre of the yacht, with galley is to port and has good amount of work surface and plenty of storage.  The chart table is to starboard and faces forward and has a pilot berth behind with excellent engine access opposite.  The aft cabin is essentially an owners suite stretching across the width of the stern.  It consists of a 1.9 x 1.4m double berth a settee, wardrobe, vanity unit/ desk and an en suite heads.  The fore cabin has a 1.8m 'V' berth with stowage below and lockers above.  The saloon stretches across the point of maximum beam and seats seven on two settees around the dining table (the water tanks are below the berths).  The galley has good amount of work .Viewing is highly recommended.
