Broker Remarks

Moody 31 for sale. Designed by Bill Dixon and built and built in 1984.  Unlike the earlier generation Moodys, which used a lot of exposed GRP and laminate, the Moody 31s have a fairly traditional and 'woody' interior.  One of the most popular of the smaller Moodys, the 31 has excellent accommodation including a good-sized aft double cabin. MISTRESS QUICKLY has bilge keels and tiller steering and has accommodation for five in two double and one single berth.

Under the current ownership for 21 years.  Always lifted ashore for the winter from September to March . The engine, gear box and outboard are serviced annually.  The sails are serviced and valeted annually and stored in a local sail loft.  Her keels were grit blasted in 2010 and treated against rust.

This Moody 31 has been mainly used for day sailing from Dartmouth, with trips to Salcombe, Brixham and Torbay and the surrounding waters as well as longer trips to Guernsey and Falmouth.  She is a quick and stable boat and easy to sail as all lines are led aft to the cockpit.
