Broker Remarks

This is a very well kept Moody 29, she has had lots of upgrades over the years, the most recent being the replacement standing rigging in 2011, and a new mainsail in 2011, both of which are still in excellent condition. The engine top end had a full overhaul in 2014 and engine hours total 1770 in total, which is excellent for a yacht of this age, the engine has always been excellently maintained for crew safety!
The current owner has owned her for a few years, and bought her as their first yacht, and an introduction to sailing for the family, now more experienced and the family getting older they feel now is the time to move to something bigger.
This Moody 29 has always stored her on the hard standing during the winter months bar last year when the current owners used her throughout the winter, she is always marina berthed her during the summers.
The hull is in excellent order for a boat of this age, she has the huge benefit of being epoxy coated, this was purely a preventative measure to ensure the longevity of the excellent hull condition.
The Moody 29 is well known for the amount of accommodation that it offers, she is also very easy to handle, a very safe and secure sea boat.
The Moody 29 is fine example for a beginner sailor or even the most experienced yachtsman who likes short-handed sailing.
I would recommend this yacht to anybody looking for good value and affordable sailing!
