Maxum 2700 SCR for Sale in Kent

The Maxum 2700 SCR sports cruiser, built in 200,0 blends comfort and performance. Accommodating up to four people in one cabin with a wide beam creating a spacious interior with 6” 3 headroom and finished to a high standard to give a luxury feel. 

This Maxum 2700 SCR sports cruiser is fitted with a 2014 single Mercruiser 5.0l petrol engine with 230hp with only 160 hours as at 1^st of May 2025, and a Raymarine a67 Chart plotter and GPS. This vessel has been well maintained by the current owner and was re-antifouled, replacement anodes, engine serviced and Bravo 2 outdrive service in July 2024.

Accommodation

This Maxum 2700 SCR offers four berths in two cabins with 6” 3 headroom.

The forward saloon features V-shaped booth seating with storage beneath the seats and a central table, which can be converted into a double berth. The space benefits from an opening deck hatch for natural light and airflow, complemented by four opening portholes—two on each side, port and starboard.

Located on the port side amidships in the saloon is the galley featuring a single stainless-steel sink with pressurised cold water, and a 240V microwave.

The heads are to starboard, featuring a electric Jabsco marine toilet connected to either the sea or a waste tank via a macerator pump, a single sink and a shower.

Located at the stern of the saloon is a double berth located under the cockpit sole.

Ascending the companion way to the cockpit, this area is perfect for socialising and relaxing. The cockpit offers a double helmsman seat to starboard, with a Chartplotter, Engine controls, and vessel control switches.

To the portside a settee that leads to a cockpit Galley featuring a white sink in a white mounted vanity unit with pressurized cold water and cupboard storage. Located behind the helm to port is a booth seating area with a central table at the stern of the vessel.

The cockpit also gives access to the 2014 Mercruiser petrol engine and a transom gate that leads to the large bathing platform.     

This vessel benefits from a CD/Radio/MP3 player with cockpit and saloon speakers, a new Jabsco fresh water pump fitted in January 2025, and a TV in the saloon. 

Mechanical and Rigging

Mechanical Systems:

This Maxum 2700 SCR is fitted with a 2014 260hp Mercruiser 5.0l MPI petrol engine with Morse controls. This engine is powering a Bravo 2 outdrive with a duo 3-bladed propeller. This engine is supplied by a 246-litre aluminium fuel tank. This engine benefits from a new water pump and pully that was fitted in August 2024

Benefitting from service history receipts and installation invoices, the engine and Bravo outdrive were last serviced in July 2024 by the owners.  The vessel's outdrive bellows were last changed in July 2024 when the engine was last serviced.

This sports cruiser will cruise at approximately 22 knots and has a maximum speed of approximately 29 knots.  This vessel benefits from Morse controls and trim tabs.  

Electrical Systems:

2 x 12v batteries (1 x Domestic 110Ah, & 1 x Engine 85Ah ) both batteries were replaced in July 2024. All batteries are charged from the engine alternator and via a 240V battery charger. This Maxum 2700 SCR benefits from a 240v ring with several sockets throughout.

History & Construction:

This vessel boasts a sleek white GRP planning hull with a black wrap below the rubbing strake replaced in 2023 and a white GRP superstructure. The boat was last ashore in July 2024 for antifouling, new anodes, engine service, outdrive service, and bellow replacement.
