Broker Remarks
“Perdita” was first launched in May 2005 and has only been cruised locally in the Solent and Chichester Harbour area. She has been wintered ashore every year since launch and the engine has been serviced annually. She is a well-maintained and well-presented boat. An early viewing is highly recommended!
Accommodation
6 berths across 2 cabins: double v-berth forward, double cabin aft and two saloon berths. Heads with Jabsco sea toilet and washbasin, including handheld shower; holding tank (76 litres) and macerator. Galley includes: a gimballed cooker comprising 2-burner hob, oven and grill; sink; coolbox. Pressurised hot and cold water, with immersion heater. Chart table and saloon table. Clock and barometer. TV outlet. 8 x opening hatches and ports. Accord cabin blinds (OceanAir).
Mechanical and Rigging
GRP hull, deck and superstructure. The forward hull sections are reinforced with Kevlar to provide additional strength. Twin bilge keel version (cast iron). Low maintenance non-skid deck. Bronze through hull fittings. Designer: Warren Luhrs Builder: Luhrs Marine Limited (now of Romsey, Hampshire) Design Category: B Yanmar 2GM 20F 18 hp diesel engine and saildrive with 2-blade propeller. Engine hours (since new): approx. 243. Diesel tank: 76 litres (stainless steel); Water tank: 151 litres. Diesel, water and holding tank level indicators. 240v shore power with multiple AC outlets. Additional hull anode. 1 x 12v engine start battery; 1 x 12v service battery. Battery charger (30 Ah) – Sterling. 2 x 12v outlets at chart table. Fractional rig with Selden spars. The rig is a B&R Backstayless Rig which allows a more powerful large roach mainsail and a smaller furling genoa, making tacking and sail-handling easier. Full roach mainsail with lazyjacks and Stackpak-type integral sail cover; 3 reef points and single line reefing lines led aft. Sail cover. Genoa with roller reefing. 2 x Lewmar ST16 self-tailing sheet winches. 1 x Lewmar ST16 self-tailing reefing winch. 6 x rope clutches on coachroof. Solid aluminium rod kicker (vang); mainsheet traveller. Additional halyard for cruising chute or spinnaker.
