Broker Remarks

Owners Remarks:
Saponetta was purchased by the current owners in 2011. The previous owner raced her regularly in the Ipswich area and cruised in the East of England, France, Holland and Belgium. After sailing her round from Ipswich, she has been berthed in the Mayflower marina, Plymouth for the past 11 years.
Apart from the recent Covid pandemic, when sailing was curtailed for long periods, the current owners have enjoyed regular sailing from Plymouth, two-handed cruising west to Fowey and the Falmouth area, and east as far as Exmouth. Two and three week cruises have included the Channel Islands, Northern France and the Scillies.
The boat has been taken out of the water annually for maintenance, and wintered on hard-standing most years.
Saponetta is a lively sail, great for racing but also comfortable and easy to handle for husband-and-wife cruising.
In the last two years several upgrades have been made as stated below.
These include, new upholstery, new genoa, new guard rails, new batteries and charger, new water pump and various other more minor items.
