Built by Tillotson and Pearson and completed by Westerly Yachts for the 1979 Fastnet race she is an excellent cruiser racer. Under her current ownership she has cruised extensively, Ireland, France etc and has also had notable success in current races, Falmouth Boat of the Regatta 2001, class winner Cork Week 2002, local club IRC series winner 2003 and 2004. Accommodation
Forepeak with twin V berths with infil to convert to a double. Heads compartment to port with sea water toilet, washbasin, hanging locker to starboard. Saloon with port and starboard settee berths with lee cloths, folding table hung off bulkhead. Galley to port with 2 burner gas cooker, sink, and chartable to starboard, port and starboard quarter berths.
Mechanical and Rigging
Perkins Parama 3 cylinder 30hp diesel with folding 16" propeller and 25mm stainless steel shaft, sterngalnd with greaser. 2 x 12v batteries charged by engine driven alternator. Aluminium fuel tank and stainless steel water tank. Kemp alloy mast keel stepped with single spreaders. Selden alloy boom and alloy spinnaker and jockey poles. Stainless steel standing rigging which has recently been replaced. Extensive sails.........Dacron main, genoa and jib for cruising. Sobstad Genesis 2 mainsails, 2 x No.1, No.2, No.3, 3 spinnakers plus heavy duty spinnaker. Harken winches,...2 x 40, 2 x 32, 2 x 16.
