Broker Remarks
The David Thomas designed Hunter Ranger 245 makes a very good family cruising yacht. She is stiff with a good turn of speed and her twin fins give great performance to windward. The Hunter Ranger 245 sleeps 6 in two cabins and the aft cabin double berth is enhanced with an opening window and porthole. Her galley is practical with a two burner stove with grill, a stainless steel sink and cold box. The saloon is bright and airy with full head height throughout.
Hunter yachts worked hard to build a twin-finned shoal draft yacht that would absolutely sail well and this they have achieved. She has a self-tacking jib and all lines lead back to the cockpit for easy single or short handed sailing. She is a class B yacht suitable for offshore passages.
She has the reliable and quiet Yanmar 1GM10 which gives a smooth 5/6knot cruising speed.
She is ashore in Lymington and has been antifouled. ‘Blueberry Hill' has had one owner from new and is ready to go for the season.
Accommodation
The Hunter Ranger 245 was designed to sleep 6. In a double forward berth two saloon berths and a large aft full length double berth . The galley area is well laid out and the heads a good size. The open plan layout makes the most of her interior size and gives a feel of a much larger yacht.
