Broker Remarks
A well-presented and regularly updated Halmatic 30 cruiser, built in 1986 to a John B. Sharp design, offering comfortable accommodation for up to five and a practical layout for cruising. She has had just four owners from new and has been consistently maintained and upgraded over the years.
Key improvements include a Volvo Penta D1-20 engine replaced in 2006, standing rigging replaced in 2022, a new Plastimo oven in 2023 and new batteries in 2026. The yacht is equipped with a comprehensive Raymarine navigation suite, Hydrovane self-steering, DSC VHF with AIS, and a good selection of cruising sails, including a 2017 genoa and cruising chute with snuffer.
The Halmatic 30 has the traditional long-keel design, ample storage, a well-equipped galley, separate heads with a shower, and practical deck gear make her a capable and comfortable cruising yacht.
Owners Remarks:
I have owned Excalibur for 6 years, and she has provento be a seaworthy boat to sail both singlehanded and with crew
I've enjoyed sailing the S and SW coast as well as Brittany and the Channel Islands, though previous owners have ventured further afield
Unfortunately, selling due to a lack of time to sail the boat
