Mechanical and Rigging
Volvo MD2003 3 cylinder diesel developing 28hp and driving a 3 bladed propeller fitted with a rope cutter. 3 x 12v batteries ( 2 x 125amp hour domestics and 1 x 85amp hour engine) charged by engine driven alternator and mains battery charger, wired for 240v shore power with shore power cable. 120 ltrs diesel, 260 ltrs fresh water. Hot water from calorifier fitted with immersion heater. Alloy main, boom and spinnaker pole with stainless steel standing rigging renewed 2006, removeable inner forestay, adjustable backstay. All sail controls led aft through 9 spinlocks. 2 Lewmar 30 halyard winches and 2 Lewmar ST43 primary winches. Mainsail, furling genoa, jib and spinnaker. New mainsail cover 2007
Autohelm 6000 autopilot with remote control, Furuno radar model 1621, ( long cable so can be moved from chart table to under sprayhood if required) Garmin 65GPS, Nasa Navtex, Stowe instrumentation with external repeaters for wind speed/direction, depth, log.
