March 02 survey, osmosis treatment with 2 years remaining gaurantee. Stored out of the water every year and is obviously looked after, This boat has been in the same hands for the last 20 years. A feb 05 survey was done for her new owner who has just discovered that he has health problems and has had to abandon his sailing plans. The first person to look at her will buy her! she has years of life left in her.
Accommodation
6 berths in two cabins. Non conventional layout keeping weight in center of boat for good performance. This boat was designed as a 1/2 tonner and enjoyed considerable sucess. Forward vee has sail storage heads and hanging lockers, Main saloon 2 settee berths and two pilot berths currently used for storage, Aft end of saloon with galley and chart table with two qtr berths.
Mechanical and Rigging
Volvo Penta MD2 16 Hp diesel engine driving 2 bladed prop, 25 gallons of water, in 1 stainless steel tank, Two batteries charged by dynamo, (engine can also be started by hand) Aluminium mast and boom, slab reefing to main Roller furling genoa, standing rigging replaced in 1985, new roller furling and forestay in 2000, Mainsail in good condition, C cut genoa 2001 good condition, Working jib good, Spinaker & Snuffer little used. Both the main and genoa haliards were replaced in May 2005.
