Broker Remarks

Remarks

The Dufour 38 Classic is one of the most respected production cruising yachts of her generation, combining solid French build quality with rewarding sailing performance and comfortable long-distance cruising capability. Designed with practicality in mind, the deep fin keel, balanced hull form and spacious cockpit make her equally at home on coastal cruising or extended offshore passages.

Dandelion is an exceptionally rare one-owner-from-new example, built in 2001 and launched in 2002. She has been carefully maintained throughout her life, with many of the major ownership costs already taken care of. Recent investment includes replacement standing rigging by Peterson Rigging, a new saildrive diaphragm (May 2025), new alternator (May 2026), new stainless-steel exhaust elbow (May 2026) and 30m anchor chain renewed in 2022. Combined with a comprehensive navigation package, solar charging and a well-equipped cruising inventory, she is a yacht that has been properly cared for and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
