Broker Remarks
A very solidly built small long-keeler with shallow draught, cutter rigged with a self-tacking boomed staysail and the mast in a tabernacle. The accommodation is surprisingly good for her size. PBO in their 1978 article on the Dockrell 27 commented that “under sail 'she glided like a bird, beautifully balanced, easy on the tiller and superbly responsive", they concluded by saying that "there are few boats with such thoroughbred qualities and with a sea kindly hull form and comfortable accommodation".
Accommodation
Accommodation consists of five berths in two cabins; V berth with infill in the forecabin, a double saloon conversion to starboard and a single to port. Galley has two burner gas cooker with grill and a sink, 100 litre cold water supply. Heads with sea toilet, wash hand basin and manual pump Upholstery is blue throughout There is 6' headroom.
